Recover your forgotten PDF password and regain document access
Can't open your PDF file? Our PDF password recovery service uses GPU-accelerated dictionary and brute force attacks to recover passwords from all major PDF encryption standards — from legacy RC4 to modern AES-256.

Older PDF files use RC4 encryption (40/64/128-bit), which is significantly faster to crack than AES. Dictionary attacks with Best64 or Jumbo rules achieve very high success rates. Brute force up to 8+ characters is feasible.
Modern PDF files use AES-128 or AES-256 encryption, which is computationally expensive. Dictionary attacks still work for common passwords. For better results, use the mask attack builder if you remember any part of your password.
We support all major PDF encryption: RC4 40/64/128-bit and AES 128/256-bit — covering virtually all password-protected PDF files.
We recover the password that was used to encrypt the PDF. Once you have the password, you can open the document and save it without a password.
RC4-encrypted PDFs: typically minutes to a few hours. AES-256 PDFs: hours to days. With a targeted mask attack, even hard PDFs can be solved quickly.
